1.   READ THE FAQ section on the home page.  There is no more time to ask questions-  Consider things.  Scratch your chin in a thoughtful manner.  Take the time and ask yourself if you really want to spend your hard earned money on this.  More importantly, do you want to spend your time doing this?

2. Read this part- (it's also on the home page:)

 If you have  car with round headlamps, it probably means it's old.  We like old cars and we like to see them driven.  We aren't marque snobs, but we are limiting this event to "vintage" cars.   We have used round headlamps as a general qualifier.  Of course, there are exceptions. Another hard rule is if you are a jerk, you aren't welcome. Consider this carefully- Most jerks aren't aware they are jerks so maybe if you are aware of several other people who think you are a jerk, you very well may be a jerk.  In these times where it seems empathy and civility are being diminished in our culture it is more important than ever to do what we can to make non-jerks of all kinds welcome and accepted.  Look around your car- is there a "LOCALLY HATED" Decal on it? Maybe a Confederate flag?  Stuff like that.  Those might mean you are, in fact, a jerk.    

You can read between the lines- if you have any problem with any of what you just read, please hit the "X" on your browser tab for this site and spend your weekend somewhere else far away from us.  Otherwise, just be kind and proceed...

3. There are better ways to do this, we know.   GoDaddy is making things more difficult for us so this is the way we are going to do it.  We really  do apologize for the lack of efficiency.

This will be a two part process:   Both must be completed entirely.  Failure to do so means you will not be registered for this year's event. If you only managed to pay the registration fee and skipped the 2nd part- your money will be refunded in full by close of business on the 3rd of July.

Each vehicle will need to pay the $160 registration fee in full now.  This is for the driver and co-driver.   You will need a second person at least to assist with navigation. If you can fit more in, great.  Price is the same.

When you have paid the fee via the PayPal link (please use friends and family option,) the 2nd step will be to email us at roundheadlamp1000@gmail.com with the following information:

A.Your name

B.Your co-drivers name

C.Make, Model and Year of your eligible vehicle.  Include a photo if you want and we can use it on the website,etc. (not mandatory.)

D. T-Shirt Sizes for you and your co-driver

E. Indicate if you would prefer a magnetic number plate or a decal for your vehicle

F. A contact number for the primary driver.

If any of this information is missing, your registration will not be complete.

REFUNDS:

We will issue full refunds until T-Shirt order and number plates are printed.  After that point, a partial refund will be issued.  You can arrange to have the stuff shipped to you somehow later.

As always, all net proceeds will be donated to the SPCA of Southwest Michigan https://www.spcaswmich.org/

Ok.   Time to register- see below:

We will get a final headcount and from there arrange for lodging.  An email will be sent to you requesting payment for your room(s.)  If you end up needing to cancel for whatever reason, we will refund your room fee up to 48 hours before the event.

Remember we are two bush-league fellows who are just barely competent at organizing this rally.  Be patient and we will respond to questions as quickly as possible.   If you made it this far, we are truly excited to have you along.  Thanks for taking a chance on this.  We are working on making it the best one yet.  (we say that every year. but we mean it.)
